Padauk is moderately heavy, strong, and stiff, with exceptional stability. It planes , moulds, turns, bores, sands, and carves well. It glues very well and can be brought to an excellent polish.
It’s a popular hardwood among hobbyist woodworkers because of its unique color and low cost

My Thoughts: |
I have used Padauk often as an accent color on projects, I think it turns nicely, it sands and finishes well. It stands out nicely when used with Ash, Wenge. I am sure it will be used often as I continue building things in the future. |
