Shipping Information

Turnaround

All orders will be shipped ASAP, Orders placed for in-store pick up will usually be ready by the next morning. Some products will be drop shipped from the manufacturer, in this case we will have little control over shipping time, but we will work with our suppliers to ensure the best possible service. We will also be offering local delivery (Limited by Zip Code) on certian orders (Size and Dollar Value).

Carriers

We will use the following carriers to deliver our orders:

USPS
UPS

Order Tracking

If a tracking # is provided by the shipping carrier, we will update your order with the tracking information. Please note that some orders using 1st Class USPS mail will not have tracking numbers. On orders that are drop shipped from the manufacturer we will only have the information they provide to us. If they provide us Tracking information we will update your order and include this information.

Shipping Rates

The rate charged for the shipping are based on you selction of Shipping Method during the checkout process. There will be Flat rate shipping for some Items, and other items may be based on weight and or sizeand you Shipping destination. Before the final checkout page you will be shown what the cost of shipping will be, at this point you will have the opportunity to select a different shipping method. You will also be able to discontinue the order process if you wish. 

Back Orders 

If an item goes on back order we will ship you the part of your order that is in stock. When the item becomes available we will ship you the rest of your order. You will not be charged any additional shipping and handling for the second shipment. When our stock is exhausted our web site will show products as "Out of Stock" and you will not be able to order them. There will be a Notice of when we expect the product to be back in stock.

Returns, Refunds

How To Return An Item

We will strive to make this as easy as possible. To Return an Item you will need to email us returns@boardfeetwoodworking.com and get a tracking Number. Your item must be in its original unused condition to be returned, unless there is a manufacturer defect. For some items you will be directed to contact the manufacturer for replacement through their Warranty. Your must return the item within 30 days of your purchase.

3. Include in your package a signed letter/note stating the reason for your return and the original receipt. 

Return Exceptions

Some items can not be returned if they are opened. These include; Project Plans, non-durable goods.

Merchandise that has been worn, used, or altered will not be accepted for return or exchange. 

Exchanges Policy

Items that come in sizes, colors, or different variations may be exchanged at our discretion. The previously purchased item must be returned, and any difference in price must be paid by the customer before we will ship exchanged item. The Customer is responsible for all shipping expenses.
